Month wise Planting calendar/list

I have compiled this calendar/list based on month rather than on the vegetable.
So one could easily look up what can be grown in the months to come.

This is not a complete list, listed only the once I would or may grow.
I will make one more including all the vegetables from the main USDA site.

New Year and new Season

With a  $25 check the new year at garden has started.
Winter this year is not too chilly and I decided to start my planning/ planning early unlike last year (March).
There are some Carrot and few Onion from last year fall (Carrots planted Oct - Nov, Onions are from Mar)

I decided to try Potatoes, had some potato sprouts cutting planted in the week end.

Potato cuttings

I have dug up soil up to one feet and mixed it well.

I found some grubs, not sure if they are good for my gardening  from my experience and what I heard from my dad is that they eat roots and are not good. (we found them in sick or dead rose plant roots) Need to verify if they are any good.

I would be planting some more carrot seeds as I did last year in March, and try to get some Onion seedlings from Home Depot. and some spinach seeds too. I can try some Peas and Beans if I still have some space.

Name of the Blog

Kissan means Farmer or Peasant in Sanskrit. So I choose the name, though my scale is far very less.
